What are the benefits of selling on BelaStem?
With BelaStem, you will be receiving orders directly from floral professionals such as florists, wedding and event planners, hotels, and other purchasers of bulk flowers. Unlike a traditional wholesaler, BelaStem is not limited by geography in the United States. Customers from all over the country could potentially purchase your products and receive within 2-5 days of shipment depending on where your farm is located.
There are many benefits to working with BelaStem. Unlike other traditional buyers, BelaStem is a full service marketplace where your farm will have its own storefront outlining the benefits of your product, any sustainable certifications that your farm has attained and any other details that you would like to share with potential customers.
Are minimum orders required to buy on BelaStem?
Yes. Buyers on BelaStem are required to purchase in FB, HB, QB, and EB increments. Buyers will not be allowed to submit partial orders and will only have the ability to buy products in the quantity per box units that you will provide during the onboarding process.
Will it cost me anything to sell on BelaStem?
There are no costs for your company to sell on BelaStem. BelaStem pays for the shipping contracts with UPS (Fedex is under development), and we handle all other costs associated with getting your product directly to floral professionals, including marketing, credit card processing fees, customer support and other business functions that are needed.

How long will it take for me to receive payment after I have processed the orders received on BelaStem?
BelaStem will pay you within 10 days after the customer has received their order and is satisfied with the product. When you create your BelaStem account, we will be able to link your bank account directly with the system enabling automatic payments for you weekly. Or, you can choose the option to withdraw the funds when it is convenient for you.
What sort of guarantee does BelaStem offer that I will get paid once I sell my product?
BelaStem guarantees 100% payment for your products if 1) the product adheres to the agreed upon quality standards outlined in our Growers Quality Commitment Guide; and 2) the delivered product matches, and is consistent with, what the customer ordered. If these guidelines are followed and there is no dispute by the customer, payments are processed automatically. No invoices, phone calls by your accounting team, it is paid automatically!
When you register, BelaStem will link your chosen method to receive payments with the BelaStem payment system. Once this link is established it allows for automatic payments to the farms once a transaction is completed. BelaStem does not take possession of the funds owed to you. The funds are fully transferred once the customer receives and inspects the product with the purchase order generated from their purchase.

What happens if the customer wants a credit for some bad product? Who pays for bad products and who pays for shipping?
We trust that your company will provide only the freshest, highest quality products to customers. We ask that growers on the platform review and adhere to the Growers Quality Commitment Guide as part of their onboarding process. In cases that a customer receives a bad, incorrect, or unsatisfactory product, we will ask you to issue a credit or replacement product to that customer. Belastem has specific guidelines for customers to report bad or damaged products. BelaStem will pay for the shipping of the replacement product, there will be no additional shipping costs to you to ship the replacement product.
In the cases that the product was damaged in transit or it was apparent the product was damaged by the shipper, BelaStem will cover the cost of the credit or replacement product to the customer.
How do I get my product on the platform?
First create an account, second, provide pertinent information about your farm. Secondly, arrange a time to speak with a BelaStem representative about pricing and uploading your catalog to the platform. Finally, review your final catalog availability and storefront. Once your account, profile and product catalog are uploaded to the platform, you only need to update your weekly availability through your vendor dashboard. How do I process orders once they come through on the BelaStem platform?
When a customer submits an order, you will receive an email and an alert on the BelaStem platform. There are 4 easy steps to fulfill an order:
When notified that you have an order, Press “Accept.”
Print the shipping label that is generated automatically within the BelaStem platform with the customer’s address.
Print the post harvest instruction sheet and Purchase Order Receipt (or PO) that will be included in the box for the customer.
Pack flowers per instructions and include Purchase Order Receipt (or PO) in the box prior to sealing and sending the product. Ensure flowers are delivered to the UPS facility prior to their daily deadline.

We request that farms check the inventory that they have indicated are “available” on BelaStem daily if you are experiencing high volume. BelaStem will automatically deduct the available product on the system.

You can also speak with your Farm Relations representative to guide you on this process. Can I get a refund or credit if I am not happy with the product I received?
Once you have filed a claim or dispute with our customer service team, we will review the claim and take appropriate action, including issuing a credit or refund if it is found that the farm or shipper is responsible for the issues related to the disputed product.
Can I order products for a future event?
Yes. BelaStem farms will allow for orders up to five weeks in advance.
How do I know the farm has received my order?
Once you have placed your order on BelaStem, you will receive an email confirmation that the farm has received your order. The farm will then review the order, double check their current availability and accept your order. Once the farm has accepted your order, you will receive an additional confirmation email that the farm is currently processing your order and preparing to ship.
Can the farm cancel my order or not fulfill it?
BelaStem is a marketplace intended for flower farms to create a storefront and be able to sell their products directly to floral professionals. We work with farms to encourage them to upload accurate product descriptions and corresponding weekly availability. You will eventually be able to see a farm’s fulfillment ratings on their storefront and product details page. However, we cannot guarantee that a farm will have availability of your product. If the farm does not currently have availability of the product that you have ordered, they will need to inform the buyer within two hours of the daily fulfillment deadline that they do not have current inventory for the product that you want. If this is the case, the farm will reject the order and you will receive an email that the farm is not currently able to fulfill your order.
Can I change or cancel an order after I have submitted it through BelaStem?
Once you submit your order, the farm has several hours to fulfill the order. Once the farm has accepted and fulfilled your order (they have packed and shipped) we cannot change or cancel your order. If you contact our customer support team prior to the order being fulfilled, we will do our best to try and modify your order, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so. Please carefully review your order type, amount, delivery date and other details before submitting your order.
What if my product arrives damaged or is not what I ordered?
If your order is not consistent with your enclosed purchase order and/or there is physical damage to the box and contents, please contact [email protected] or call our toll free number, 1-833-512-1527. Please note per our Terms of Use, that all claims and disputes must be filed WITHIN 48 HOURS of receiving your product. Unfortunately, BelaStem cannot process claim or refund appeals after 48 hours of your receipt of the delivery. The email must include the order number, photos showing the box and shipping label the flowers arrived in as well as a photo of the flower(s) that are the subject of the claim.

Can I speak directly with the farm about my order?
BelaStem is a fully supported marketplace and part of our service is to work with the farms to provide their best products, timely responses, efficient packaging and logistics. Our customer service people are happy to help answer any questions you may have. We encourage BelaStem customers to leave reviews and ratings for the products and farms that they enjoy!
How do I know my payment is secure?
BelaStem is built with the highest online security standards. We do not store your credit card data on our servers and use reputable credit card processors to process your transaction.
How can I ensure I receive my products by my chosen delivery date?
You can view available delivery dates and order deadlines on the product detail page of the product you are planning on purchasing. Products will be delivered within 3-5 business days, and the dates available for delivery will appear on the product detail page.
PLEASE NOTE: For your order to be received, processed, and delivered to the airport on the same day, your order must be submitted prior to 9am EST. For example, if you would like your shipment to arrive on Wednesday for products being shipped from Bogota, you will need to have your order submitted by 9am EST on Monday of the same week in order to meet the delivery deadline to the airport. In the same example, orders received after 9am EST will not ship until Tuesday with a delivery day of Thursday.
