Agapanthus blooms in large blue, white or violet-blue round clusters or umbels. The funnel shaped flowers grow at the end of a thick 2 to 4 foot tall stem with clusters measuring about 6 to 8 inches across. It is also known as Lily of the Nile, African Blue Lily, and African Lily.
